S~Glide

The "S~Glide" has been our tried & true Glider since 2015. Prior to the first build I had never felt or ridden a Glider. It was all based on some information that my buddy Danno a Glider enthusiast had provided based on the ride he was after. At that time there were only a few Gliders on the island that I knew of but I didn't really have access to them. On the flip side, that gave me a blank canvas to start with so we decided to lean towards the performance single-fin approach. Starting with the outline it felt natural to make it a double-ender. Gave it a subtle single concave entry that vanishes just ahead of center for some lift since we wanted a semi-low entry rocker that later leads to a paneled vee out through the tail. The rails are nice and soft up front then slowly blends into a tucked under edge in the back. Glassed it on the heavy side and after receiving much sweet and positive feedback, I pretty much kept that formula for the "S-Glide since". Aside from paddling and gliding well along with being easy to navigate, it also noserides like a dream. Sweet right? We've also had great results when building it with slightly pinched 50/50 rails for the soft & slower peeling waves. So based on the break you plan to frequent on this Glider we can accommodate concepts.
