Here we have a tried & true high-performance step-up made for steep pumping hollow Hawaiian reef breaks. The intention behind its design was to have just enough of a board to paddle into some serious bombs without any unnecessary bulky feels, making it highly responsive on demand allowing you to square off the bottom and then climb up vertically with plenty of speed to blast through critical sections. Meanwhile, it's still capable of dipping under water deep enough to get you out of sketchy situations. This was accomplished by keeping everything subtle. The outline, rocker, foil, and concave combined with a pair of deck channels and light glassing all work together harmoniously. A solid go-to step-up board for when those proper swells hit.
