Twinzers

In the mid-summer of 2016, I ventured into a realm of no return. It was the augmented 4 fin configuration "Twinzer" realm that was brought into fruition by the amazing mind of Wil Jobson in the 80s that eventually led me to hang up my personal Thrusters. I've become somewhat obsessed with this approach ever since and have been applying it to all sorts of board shapes with outstanding results. Its unique design adapts well in diverse wave conditions. In small to mid-range waves you'll notice it flowing fast, connecting sections and responding beautifully on demand. As we enter overhead and bigger surf... well it just goes wildly faster. Imagine a Twin Fin board, turbo-charged with more drive and a touch more hold, pure bliss! I really don't know how else to put it other than the thing just flies. The "Pinzer" is the most often requested version, which is simply a Rounded Pin Tail Twinzer. Hats off to Wil, this fin setup has proven to blow minds in a variety of board models. I challenge you to explore it and feel the difference.

Recommended Tail Shape: Interestingly this board works well in a wide variety of tail shapes. My personal favorite thus far is the Rounded Pin. Feel free to have an open mind and get in touch with me to discuss possibilities.
